An unusual gift in the Gavolerie estate, where Gilles Renard” gentilhomme” at the court of Louis XIII had delicate saffron based dishes. In October we will go to the garden have a look at the small field of saffron; whose delicate flowers are to blossom out during the month. At the beginning of the afternoon Isabelle and Stéphane ,the owners will welcome you in their private kitchen. You will discover the art of cooking saffron in a charming and modern kitchen inside the Château de la Gavolerie. You will realize a saffron based menu including starter, main course and dessert. Put your chef upron on!
In a friendly atmosphere cook your own dinner and then savour it in the dining room of the castle. You will stay 1 night and enjoy the following day resting in the grounds or visiting the area.
